My last novel was published in June of 2020. Six years. Six long, lonely years without a new book coming out. But the drought is over.

I am starting a new series called Barbarian Worlds. It will be at least a trilogy and just possibly longer. The first book is complete and now on preorder. The title, as you can see below, is Barbarian Uprising.

Barbarian Uprising launches a brand-new adeventure inspired by the ancient Roman Empire. The Hadean Empire, founded on the planet Hades, is the most advanced civilization in several star systems, surrounded by more than twenty barbarian worlds.

Hades has embarked on a mission to “spread civilization” to its planetary neighbors, invading several worlds to “improve their lives”.

But things haven’t worked out as expected. After three decades of Empire rule, the barbarian planet Eutopia is in revolt. Nothing the Empire has tried is working, so Empress Hili recruits a veteran soldier, Tribune Marcus Ciro, to see if he can solve the problem. Not as a soldier, but as Dominus of Santu Región. Ciro knows nothing about civil administration, but his military training has taught him to get results…however he has to.

Barbarian Uprising will release on September 1, 2026.

The second novel, Barbarian Governor, will launch early next year, and the third novel, Barbarian Student, will follow later in 2027. Paperbacks and audiobooks will follow.
