This Saturday, August 23, will be the second annual Heart of California Book Faire (to keep the record straight, last year it was called Heart of the Valley Book Faire). We had a fine turnout in 2024 and expect an even bigger success in 2025. In addition to meeting local authors, buying their books, and getting them signed, this year will feature author panels with Q&A and author readings (including one from ME!!!). Featured speakers will include David Mas and Nikikio Masumoto.

Food and refreshments will also be available.

Driving directions:

If you arrive from the north, take Exit 154 (4th Street Exit). Turn left at the stop sign, then turn right at the light (in front of the Catholic church). Then turn right one block later on Sunset. The event will be at the Methodist church on your left.

If you arrive from the south, take Exit 154 (4th Street Exit) and turn left at the light. Proceed one block to Sunset and turn right. The Methodist church will be on your left.

The event starts at 11:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm. Almost every genre will be represented, including SEVENTEEN children’s book authors.
